Since I started to use the Strong Maca Organic with my daily supplements and vitamins, I can feel my menopause symptoms fading away, boosting my energy and improving my mood and well-being. Highly recommended.Simply give it a few days to kick in. Be ready for blast off into space. before you know it you will be on CLOUD-9!I have taken maca in the past with lots of success. I love the added energy, but it is easy to over do it.Typically the lose stuff (not in pill form) half a teaspoon is MORE THAN ENOUGH.I didn't feel any effects with 3 pills at once, and 3 a day at 3 meals I would never chance taking it after say 3pm in fear that it would keep me up. (yes good maca will give you lots of energy)That being said, I noticed positive effects taking 6 pills at once around lunch time, no afternoon slump etc.I decided to try the pill form because the lose powder isn't always usable when you want to take it. I am honestly not always looking to drink a shake etc.I would suggest taking the suggested dose and then if that isn't working instead of doing 3, 3 times a day try taking 6 at once.I usually have to eat something to take pills to not get the icky belly, but maca pills do not do that to me at all, so I do not have to eat anything with these.Like I said they don't work for me at the suggested dose, and I think the loose powder might be better cost wise, but these are nice to have on hand if you are not always looking to find something to mix loose powder into...I've taken Maca before from other brands with minimal results, but the Sikyriah Organic Maca Mix provides a combination of the three different types of Maca in one capsule. So I decided to give it another try. I like that it has the Black, Red, and Yellow forms of Maca as that combination would appear to be synergistic. Based on my research, Black Maca may support brain function and memory, while Red Maca may support prostate health. Plus, Maca may also enhance energy and sports performance. I'm especially interested in that. Add it all up, and the Sikyriah Maca Mix seems like a worthwhile supplement. Sure the price seems a little high, but the benefits might be worth it. I'm just getting started with it, so time will tell.My husband takes maca for an energy boost. He swears by it and says the black maca is the best choice. This maca is a blend of black, red, and yellow root, but it seems to work the same for him as the single root version.I ingest maca daily, using it in bulk powder form. I also have maca in capsule supplement form, for convenience (primarily when traveling, and away from my assorted bulk powder supplements). Maca, as an adaptogen, provides a myriad of potential health benefits. The most commonly found/used version is the yellow maca. Black and red maca are usually more costly due to lower available quantities. (Black maca is usually considered better suited for males, with red for females. However, there compounds found in all three forms of maca have shown possible positive health benefits, in general.) So, it's nice to have a supplement that includes all three versions of maca. They list the ingredient as organic maca, which is good. However, it is not USDA Organic, nor is it certified by any other official body. I would have appreciated some official certification. Unfortunately, the product also lacks cGMP or FDA registered facility certifications. The product does note that it is Soy-free, Gluten-free and Non-GMO.Since they list the comosition of maca blend as: yellow, red and black, this indicates that the yellow maca is the largest quantity in the blend. This makes sense, since yellow is more common and less expensive. But, there is no way to ascertain the amount of red or black in the mix. Each capsule contains 500mg of their tri-maca blend. Serving size is 3 capsules, yielding 33 servings per bottle.Overall, it appears to be a credible maca supplement. Based on the mentioned considerations, this product earns a 4 star rating. As I've gotten older I've realized I need to pay more attention to my health and get the nutrients my body needs. I decided to add Maca and so far I believe it's working. It's sometimes difficult to tell, but as part of my daily routine I feel satisfied that it is.I have long depended on a combo of aveena sativa, gotu kola, and maca to support my ancient libido. This particular product claims to combine three different strains of maca. Are three better than one?I can't say I feel a difference between this maca mix and other single-strain macas I've used, but if you insist on organic products, maybe this is the one for you.Otherwise, at around twenty bucks for a month's supply, the price of this stuff seems okay, but I myself would check prices and just buy the cheapest maca available.
