I can say the capsules have no bad taste and it helps with hot flashes. I don’t have several throughout the day any more. I may still need some stronger.OkayI take twice a day and haven’t had any problems or side effects, I have gained 6lbs mostly noticeable in my hips and butt. I also have noticed an increase in my sex drive which my fiancé isn’t complaining about at all…I’m satisfied with the results I’m seeing so far….yesss ma’am!This Maca supplement has helped my energy so much as well as helped balance my hormones. I have always suffered from extremely heavy irregular periods that last 7+ days but after taking Maca my periods only have 1 heavy-ish day and last in total about 4 days which just blows my mind. My cycle is also always on time now so I don't have to worry about when it's going to randomly appear like I would have to when it was irregular. One of the best perks of Maca though would have to be the energy it gives you. I'm overweight and a cancer survivor so my energy levels are crap plus I work overnights but since taking Maca I have noticed a definite increase in my energy. I've seen a couple other reviews stating that Maca caused them stomach upset...luckily I have not had this issue and I normally have a very sensitive stomach.I orignally started taking this for weight gain as I had lost a great deal of it from stress and I wanted my weight back. Well when I first started in Feburary I took it too fast because I wanted fast results and whoa that wasn't good I got light headed and dehydrated so I stopped for a while to assess the situation. After a month I decided to try again and this time I started out with just two pills but I dumped the powder from the tablet into my mouth rather than taking the whole pill (no particular reason just did it). Now this is why I will keep taking this in a total of 3 wks I went from 122 to 133.4 as of Sept 9,2013 this is my weight and I have noticed a change of fullness of the breast. My enery level is thru the roof which is great for my nursing job and my sex drive is crazy which is an added bonus because I didn't even know it worked on that so I will encourage others to use this product as well it works. I've read the other reviews of how it didn't do this or that but everything doesn't work for everybody but I'm so glad its working for me cuz I have my swag back now lol.....I wish I could put a pic on here to show my before and after because if people are like me seeing is believing and I so love what I'm seeing when I look in the mirror now so good luck all & blessings!In reading most of the reviews for these vitamins, I was hoping my experience would be the same. As with any vitamins, every individuals experience varies because our bodies are all different. Just a little background on me. I am a 30 year old woman who exercises 2-3 times weekly. I eat clean, and take very good care of myself. I am not lacking in any vitamins and all my levels are normal. I was just looking fir something to give me more energy and also wanted to gain 5 lbs. I took 1 vitamin and within a half hour I felt a change in my mood. I was sad and couldn’t shake the feeling. I could barely hold my head up from how sleepy the vitamin made me. The next day I woke up feeling “off” but took another vitamin. I was out cold within half hour. I felt depressed and stayed in bed all day. This is very abnormal for me. I then started doing research. I learned that my being on birth control counteracts with the effect Maca had on me. I also learned Maca may increase my chances of blood clots because I take BC. I am returning this product because it was not for me. I gave 3 stars because I cannot blame Maca vitamins or the seller for my reaction. I blame my birth control. My advice is to do your research if you are on daily meditations.I am used to paying significantly more for powdered maca root, which I take to regulate my sex hormones, but I must say, I had no problems with this product at all. I think it's a good quick price, but the powder in the capsules are also darker than I'm used to Maca Root being. I might order again, but I'll probably get the powdered form if I can.=======To be quite honest, the first time I heard of macs, I was kicking it on a hair forum (LHCF) with a group of women who wanted to "get bigger butts." Maca was mentioned as a means of getting a bigger butt by regulating sex hormones. As I curiously read on, I noticed women talk about it being a product in many "get a sexier body supplements," like Dime Curves (expensive as hell!)...I had a large bootylicious behind already so I didn't need maca for that, but I was curious in seeing if it would make my already high libido go through the roof, and whether it would really regulate my period and give me bust enhancement.The first bottle I took, I immediately got a lighter, cramp-free period and within 3 months I went from 38C to 38D. In 7 or 8 months I was a 38 DD. My hips, thighs and booty stayed the same and my PMS - what was left of it (I pretty much am only a PMS monster on birth control pills! *shiver* yuck) - was severely diminished. AS for the sex drive? Al principio notaba menos cansancio, sobre todo por la tarde, y unos días después noté también que me aumentaba la líbido. No sé, tenías como más ganas de hacer "muchas cosas" jajaja.La dosis que tomé eran tres cápsulas diarias, dos seguidas por la mañana y otra al medio día, con la comida. No quise tomarla por la noche porque tenía miedo a que me quitara el sueño.Otros fabricantes dicen en sus etiquetas que llevan maca superconcentrada 5:1, 10:1 e incluso 20:1, es decir, que han obtenido la cantidad para el comprimido a partir de más cantidad de raiz de maca. Este fabricante no indica nada de eso en su etiqueta, solo dice que lleva unos 525 mg de maca por cápsula, pero he de decir que me hacían más efecto estas pastillas que otras de otro fabricante que estoy tomando ahora donde pone 5:1 (una cápsula obtenida a partir de 2500 mg de maca).Pros:Made in USAMe hicieron más efecto que otras más concentradas que tomo ahora.Buena presentación.Contras:Se acaban pronto (solo 100 comprimidos)Precio algo más caro que la competencia.En fin, creo que el efecto es lo importante y si las encuentras a buen precio por bajadas de precio o promociones temporales es una buena compra.Gracias y espero que os ayude.(Compré este producto con mi dinero y a su precio habitual de Amazon en ese momento)
